In the summer of 2016 he played for NPSL team FC Indiana, starting every game but one and scoring 2 goals as a forward. In the fall of 2016 he transferred to Faulkner University, starting every game but one, scoring 3 goals and gaining 2 assists. Faulkner would end up ended losing in the Southern States Athletic conference finals. George was named to the SSAC all conference 1st team.
"We are very excited to have George as part of the Demize NPSL team this season. He has been very successful in the collegiate ranks winning both multiple conference titles and a national championship to boot", stated Demize general manager Kaleb Romero. "I was recruiting George last year and thought he was going to be playing for the Joplin Demize NPSL team but when circumstances did not facilitate that I kept a close eye on him while he was with Indiana FC knowing he was a top recruit that our team would be pursuing for this season", said Coach Hanlon.
