Lady Demize U11 girls take second at Sporting Arkansas Classic

LDA girls score 14 goals in four games

The U11 Lady Demize team went to Arkansas this weekend to play at the Sporting Arkansas Spring Classic. They finished second out of 8 teams playing some very difficult competition. They beat Sporting Arkansas 3-1 in the first game. This was the fourth ranked team in Arkansas. Then they played SLSC Cosmos out of Oklahoma winning 4-0. They beat another team out of Arkansas 8-0 to make it to the championship game. They lost to Arkansas Comets, the number one team in Arkansas in the final game. Presely McCain was named MVP by the other team for that game.

They did this with having only one sub for the entire tournament. They continue to improve with their positioning, ball movement, crossing, and defense. There were several coaches and families from other teams that commented on how tough and well these girls play with each other.

Congratulations to the girls who's streak of finishing first or second place in all leagues and tournaments during the 2016-2017 club calendar year continues.
