During the weekend of June 3rd & 4th the combined U11 & U12 Lady Demize participated in the Salsa Tournament in Kansas City.  The Lady Demize started the weekend off with a 13-0 win over Synergy FC U12 followed by a 4-1 win over Mamba Fury SC.  Sunday morning the Lady Demize did not let up a bit and won their first match 4-2 against FCKC Napoli.  Sunday afternoon brought the Championship match between the Lady Demize and Real St Louis Moody/Suess.  Real St. Louis came out ready to play and held the Lady Demize to a 1-0 lead going into half.  During the beginning of the second half the Lady Demize fought back to score two goals before lighting delay stopped the match with 14 minutes left to play.  The match resumed after an hour and half delay, Real St. Louis came back firing but our Lady Demize held off the attack to finish the match with a 2-1 final.  These ladies showed great composure all weekend never giving up on each other.  Congratulation to the Champion Lady Demize!!!
