SBU's Kaleb Romero Named MIAA Men's Soccer Athlete of the Week
Kaleb started his career with the Demize as a high school junior, playing in both the PASL and PDL at the age of 17. Romero’s development within the Demize soccer organization started with TDSC since the age of 13. His success is another example of the international club model providing soccer players in Southwest Missouri the oppurtunity to develop there skills thru high school and into the collegiate ranks.

Kansas City, Mo. – Southwest Baptist’s Kaleb Romero has been named the MIAA Men’s Soccer Athlete of the Week.

Romero had an excellent weekend for the SBU men’s soccer team. Romero had five goals during the past week for the Bearcats. He finished off the weekend with a hat trick in a 5-4 overtime loss at Kentucky Wesleyan, after scoring 2 goals in a loss against Oakland City. Romero scored 5 of 8 goals for SBU during the week. The 5-11 forward is a native of Joplin, Mo.
