With wins over the Saint Louis Shockwave, Omaha FC and Tulsa Tornadoes in the second half of conference play the Demize PASL found themselves on the outside looking in for a chance to qualify for the National championships in Phoenix Arizona at the end of March. " The slow start to the season ended up being the deciding factor that kept us form qualifying for nationals," stated owner and coach Joey Caulk. " But we are excited to be building the foundation for the future and we will be back next winter to once again compete in PASL and another chance to win our conference and represent the Midwest at nationals."
The team finshed the season with a 14-4 win vs the Springfield Demize Academy high school boys March 12th at the soccer dome. The exhibition was a chance for Demize Acadmey players getting ready for the spring season to get a taste of the caliber, level and speed of play that the Demize team and players compete at during the winter months. " My goals is to continue the development of our acadmey players once they graduate high school and join the collegaite ranks by utlilizing the Demize PASL program in the offseason," stated the DOC Chris Hanlon.
